The Red Mountain Racers and Rossland Secondary School have long been searching for a solution to our athletes missing classes, half days, and full days from school. RSS is committed to continuing to offer our athletes an opportunity to train more, while helping them manage and complete their schooling.



For 2008/09, a new academic year at the Academy is underway, with local and international students participating in expanded and more flexible 10 month or 5 month programs. Students from other provinces and countries have been welcomed to Rossland Secondary School, Red Mountain Racers and the community of Rossland. Details on the new program are available at www.redskiacademy.com. Several new features included in this year's program are transportation by van to and from the ski hill and sessions on sport nutrition and sport psychology.
